We've Been Here Two Weeks!

So, it's been two weeks since we've been here and it's been great! It has taken some getting used to though. I think we both realized that we're not meant to live the city life haha :) I guess it's been awhile since we've last blogged, and since then the students have arrived. They got into the city last Tuesday. The campus track has 19 students from all over the US (mostly from the southeastern US). This past week has been great getting to know them better and hear about their lives and where they've come from. These students are pretty mature in their faith, and it has been really encouraging to us to be working with them. We've also been able to spend some time on some of the campuses in the NYC area. In the beginning of this week we split up to go to our different campuses. Once we got to our campuses, we did some prayerwalking and decoding (this is just asking different students questions about the school in order to find out more about what the school is like). It's been neat to do actual ministry on a campus!
On a non-summer project note...tomorrow we're flying to Buffalo til Sunday for my (Emily) brother's wedding! The rehearsal is tomorrow night and the wedding is on Saturday. We're really looking forward to it! We're looking forward to seeing family and spending a little time away from the busyness of NYC. I'll be sure to post some pictures from this wonderful celebration! :)
Here are some pictures from the two weeks we've been here!
